BAND DIRECTOR
Mrs. Emilia Tenoré
Mrs. Tenoré graduated Summa Cum Laude from Florida State University in December 2019 with a Bachelor of Music Education degree and the Honors College Medallion. During her time at FSU, she studied clarinet under Dr. Deborah Bish and performed with the University Wind Orchestra, Symphonic Band, Concert Band, and Marching Chiefs. As a member of the Marching Chiefs, she served as Drum Major for the 2017 and 2018 seasons, which included the honor of traveling to France to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of D-Day. She is also an inducted member of the Pi Kappa Lambda National Music Honor Society.
Mrs. Tenoré has a strong focus in woodwind pedagogy, with particular expertise in clarinet instruction. She presents on clarinet pedagogy at professional conferences and has worked as a woodwind clinician with school bands across Florida. In addition to her pedagogical work, she has led leadership and conducting clinics for high school programs throughout South Florida and has served on the instructional staff for the FSU Marching Band Leadership Camp from 2017-2023.
Assistant Band Director
Mr. Greg Lambert
Mr. Lambert is a graduate of Florida State University, earning his Bachelor of Music Education in December 2024. While at FSU, he was a member of the trombone studio as well as the trombone choir under the instruction of Dr. John Drew and Dr. Hana Beloglavich. During this time, he was also actively involved in the Marching Chiefs, having served as trombone section leader for the 2023 season. Alongside Marching Chiefs, Mr. Lambert participated in the Brass Machine indoor marching ensemble from 2021-2022 and became coordinator for the group in 2023.
Prior to College, he also marched euphonium with the Phantom Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps from 2017-2018. That experience allowed him to travel the country and attend the Drum Corps International World Class Championships as a finalist member. Mr. Lambert enjoyed writing and arranging music for band, as well as designing marching drill. He served as the drill writer for Columbia High School in Lake City, FL from 2014-2016. Additionally, he has worked as a counselor for FSU Summer Music Camps, currently serving on their administrative staff.
