BAND DIRECTOR

Mrs. Emilia Tenoré

Mrs. Tenoré graduated from Florida State University Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Music Education degree and the Honors College Medallion in December 2019. While there, she was a member of the clarinet studio under Dr. Deborah Bish, and she performed in the University Wind Orchestra, Symphonic Band, Concert Band, and Marching Chiefs. In the Marching Chiefs, she served as a Drum Major during the 2017 and 2018 seasons, which gave her the incredible opportunity to travel to France and commemorate the 75th Anniversary of D-Day. Mrs. Tenoré is also an inducted member of the Pi Kappa Lambda National Music Honor Society.

Mrs. Tenoré specializes in woodwind pedagogy and has worked as a woodwind clinician with bands across the state of Florida. In addition, she has taught leadership and conducting clinics in high schools around south Florida and has been on staff for the FSU Marching Band Leadership Camp.

BAND ASSISTANT

Mrs. Courtney Noe

Mrs. Noe began her teaching career in 2010 and has been serving music students of all ages from Kindergarten to 12th grade throughout Okaloosa County.  She holds a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Music Education from Florida State University. Her ensembles consistently perform well in venues and competitions throughout the United States as well as earn high honors and Superior ratings for full group and solo performances at district and state events. 

In addition to teaching, Mrs. Noe still involves herself musically within the community where she participates in local community bands, a local jazz band, and sings in her church choir.
